Today seems to be a sad day for South Africa. Seems our radio entertainment is being downgraded with the loss of Gareth Cliff while Zuma’s homestead is being upgraded with all our tax money. Things were looking a bit gloomy today.
Until i stumbled upon this video about Bane Cat. This will make it all better South Africa, i promise.
LEGO has unveiled 16-NEW Simpsons minifigs and they are all truly amazing.
My birthday is in June, feel free to buy me aaaaaaaall the Simpsons minifigs!
It’s Captain America time here in South Africa. I’ve got the movie premiere tomorrow night with @MnetMovies and then the movie officially launches in South Africa on Friday. Say whaaaaat!? I’m going to be honest and say that Captain America isn’t my favourite of the Superhero franchises. But there is something i’m looking forward to in this film. Chris Evans. CHRIS EVANS!
I think the official movie poster is a bit bleh, but there are some really cool fan art posters for ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’. These are my favourite posters from around the web.
If you somehow missed the movie trailer, i’ve posted it below to get your eye balls excited. Are you going to see it this weekend?
Ladies. This blog post is just for you. No boys allowed 😉
This ridiculous blog of geekery is not where my madness stops. The lovely @LeighFowle and I also host a bi-monthly event where woman in the tech, digital and other business industries get together to talk about cool things and drink wine. Lots of wine. It’s a great space for us to talk about our ideas and passions and meet other like minded woman, because after all…
It’s not at about being better than others, race, religion or anything else. It’s about a bunch of awesome, smart girls getting together to talk about the things that inspire us. And wine 😉
But there is a reason i’m telling you about this. At the next Girl Geek Dinners i’ll be speaking. Telling YOU about the story of how Girl Geek Dinners started and how in two years this event has grown into something i’m super proud of. I don’t want to give too much away but if you’re keen to hear more then join us a our next event on the 10th of April.
